• I believe that this is a book that every American should have and regularly dip into to understand what our great nation is all about. Mr. Valentine puts the lie to the liberal disinformation campaign about the conservative movement while articulating a convincing case for the conservative values that are truly reflective of what America is all about.  This is a book that I will never put on a shelf, but keep near my Bible so I can regularly dip into it and refresh and reinforce my understanding of what makes America great.  Mr. Valentine lays out his explanation of conservatism in highly readable and understandable "bite size" chapters that can be digested in one sitting over a short time period, which makes it all the more attractive. • This is one of those wonderful spell binding books that you read, set it down to do something else and come back quickly to start reading more and more. The book is well written and I appreciate the mature dialogue and the extensive Appendix, Notes and Index section. And its not a nasty or mean spirited book but a thought-provoking and, if I do say so, a good libertarian bent. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to challenge their thinking as well as be reminded of the Founding Fathers genius and, sadly, how liberalism has partially derailed the train they gave us.

• I only wish I had this book years ago! This is the best and most comprehensive book about every pressing issue in America today! It is concise and easy to read.
